Hi, I’m Tashiko!
From my humble beginnings at 15 yrs old, being introduced to the ancient art of Bellydance, the beautiful flow of these ancient movements channeled though me with such a delightful grace & ease. It became my first understanding of being guided by Spirit, however it took me many more years to truly understand the enormity of this gift…
Years later, following my joy of the spirited dancing connection, I began teaching Bellydance in community centers, performing and sharing heartfelt moments with many dancing sisters.
I began my journey into vibrational healing with Usui Reiki - the Japanese modality of channeling ‘Universal Life Force’ energy for the healing of ourselves & others. I completed my Lv 1 & 2 fairly early on, (1998 /2001) but to my surprise, Reiki called me back to its temple again just recently, to study my Reiki Mastership (2023) - what a beautiful unfolding journey!
In the early 2000’s I explored many beautiful and ethereal layers of Sonic Bathing and Sound Healing alongside some talented musicians performing and recording our soundscapes with an amazing selection of drums, bowls, gongs, bells, flutes, strings and even some experimental handmade instruments to which I brought my love of vocal toning, ancient mantra and other experimental sounds. I would later realise this was the beginning of my Light Language explorations. All this love of combining sound healing and expanded consciousness also led the way to exploring Tantric sound healing circles many years later.
I expanded into Quantum Frequency Healing (2009) another vibrational healing technique which was fascinating to explore and very much expanded my awareness of the vibrational self beyond the body. This modality blends so beautifully with any off-the-body work and in particular distance healing sessions.
With my love of dance, its no surprise that a beautiful form of blindfolded Trance Dance became an avenue to drop deeply into surrendered states, strengthening my clairvoyance and deepening my connection to Spirit through it’s amazing moving meditation. (2015
The love of tattooing then took me on a profound journey. While it might seem a departure from the dance and healing realms, I learned through many powerful experiences, tattoo is a sacred realm of creative and spiritual channeling, whereby the artist brings creative vision, artistic flow and many layers of healing to clients as they move through the energetic and emotional realms woven into the deeply physical experience. Every session of course, was also a Reiki hands on healing!
In 2018 I began broadening my understanding of Spirit again though Psychic and Mediumship studies, a long term passion that tied into my love of magick, oracle and exploring psychic phenomena. Since then I’ve had the pleasure of learning from some of the world’s best mediums - Tony Stockwell (UK), Lynne Probert (UK) and Dianne Thomas (AU) and I continue my studies.
Currently, as I intentionally slow my pace in life, I find stillness in my love of photography and being out in nature as much as possible. I look forward to returning to more sound healing, light language and dance. Enjoying textile art and crochet has replaced tattooing for a much softer tactile expression of my creativity and of course I will always create in many mediums - drawing sculpting, glasswork, acrylic and digital painting…especially my new love - “Liquid Light Spirit Art” !
